MR. HAROLD MC.MILLAN, M.P. HOUSE OF COMMONS.
Dear Sir,
FLAT 15,
BREEZY POINT, PARK ROAD,
HONG KONG.

I would deem it a great favour if you will give the
attached documents your very earnest attention with a view to
righting an existing wrong, which, although I make this personal
matter, in effect, is the case of all Pre-War Officers of the
Hong Kong Police Force, numbering around 200.

Officer proceeding to the United Kingdom on long leave, and I
take the liberty of giving you the names of Messrs. A.LESLIE,
A. ROSE and S. INNES, also brother officers who are at present

Colonial Office on this matter and as a result of this I

A. LESLIE and the reply he (Mr. ROSE) received was :-
"but Tony ROSE wrote to say that a short time ago he saw the liaison Officer at Colonial Office and was told that no petition had been received on those lines from Hong Kong....."
"That means the one you sponsored never went very far."
In effect this is the matter which is included in
attached documents and it will be seen from a Memo dated
20/3/1947 at 'K' which I received from the Commissioner of
Police informing me that such petition had been forwarded to
the Secretary of State.
At this stage Sir, I would like to inform you that
for the past 12 months I have been very active on behalf of
the Pre-Tar
